Cogeco Communications is recognized in 2025, for a sixth consecutive year, among the world’s 100 most sustainable corporations by Corporate Knights, demonstrating its leadership in making the world a better place.
Cogeco Communications was ranked among Corporate Knights’s Best 50 Corporate Citizens in Canada, placing it among Canadian companies that are setting the standard for sustainability leadership in their respective industries.
Cogeco won a Mercure award in the Sustainable Development Strategy category at the 44th edition of the Les Mercuriades competition presented by La Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec (FCCQ). This award recognizes a company whose commitment and achievements in sustainable development are remarkable or unique in its industry sector.
Cogeco officially validated its net-zero emissions target across all scopes with the Science Based Targets (SBTi) in fiscal 2024. This commitment underscores our dedication to impactful climate action and a low-carbon future. Supporting this long-term vision, Cogeco has aligned its near-term targets with the SBTi pathway to limit global warming to 1.5°C. We are the first Canadian telecommunications company to have its net-zero emissions target approved by the SBTi.
